Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)

Believers' Convention 2022 (DAY 4 - Evening Session)

Date: Wednesday, 10th August  2022

This scripture makes it clear to us that God wants to reveal His heart to us, and this is what He does on a daily basis. God speaks all the time but we do not hear Him all the time because of the position of our hearts. It is one thing for God to reveal, it is another thing for us to gain entrance.

The knowledge of God’s will comes in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col. 1:9). God passes His life to us on a daily basis, but to access it, we need all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Sometimes, as the body of Christ, we have a clue of what God is saying but, because there is no wisdom or spiritual understanding, our interpretation is faulty.

The glory of God is ever present, and when it comes, it has something specific it has come to fulfill. But when wisdom to handle what God is giving is not applied, we lose it. Adam, in the garden of Eden, was given a responsibility–his wife, but he took it for granted. It is good for every married man to value his wife because the rise and fall of a man is in the hands of his wife. When a man is building himself, he should build his wife also.

Adam, in the garden, did not value his (current) position; thus, he lost his eternal position. Regardless of what it may look like, where you are now is the best place God wants you to be at that moment. If you value it and do what you are supposed to do, He will exalt you.

Adam left his wife uncared for, and the enemy came. What you leave undone is what the enemy is interested in and what is left undone is a strength that has been abandoned. Knowledge is what makes you; that is your life. It is what you know that you live by and which will preserve you. There are many dimensions of God, but He reveals Himself in bits. Therefore, no man can know all of God at once. We are God’s people and the sheep of His pasture (Psa. 100:3). It is God who directs us. Those who know God are meek and lowly because they know that they are nothing by themselves.

A man that does not know how to appropriate knowledge is a man that knowledge puffs up. Knowledge does not puff every man up; it is the man of the earth that knowledge puffs up. Knowledge humbles a man of the spirit. If a certain knowledge is of God and a man is able to access and connect it well, it will humble him (1Cor. 8:1).

When God wants to reveal Himself in a new way, questions such as this year’s convention theme may arise. We are in the last days and the teachings of God for the end revolve around revealing who He is. The more of Him we see, the more the devil has no meaning (Jn. 1:5). The devil is not powerful, he only plays on the intelligence of man. Regardless of the things that the devil may say, we should bear in mind that with God all things are possible (Lk. 1:37).

God is principled yet loving. He will not compromise His principles because of His love for us. Therefore, nothing shall be impossible, as long as we remain with God (Luke 1:37). He is the Alpha and Omega, the One who brought forth all things and who has the power to collapse all things (Rev. 1:8). The devil has no power to collapse the earth, nor our lives; this power is given to God alone. He is the One we serve and should believe.

Our preparation determines our position and faith in the place of battle. David was not a warrior, but he was well prepared by God. In a battle that warriors could not face, he stood up because the army of God was being defiled (1Sam. 17:10). Because of the position that he assumed in the spirit, God gave David victory. Our victory will not come by words of proclamation into our lives but by our positioning.

Daniel also took up a position in his own time (Dan. 2:11-20). The king of Babylon sought to slay the wise men of Babylon when no one could tell him his dream and interpret it. When this happened, Daniel had to go to his company and make it known (Dan. 2:17). This is why we must never feel too big to be part of a company. We must do everything to maintain our company, both spiritually and physically.

There is safety in being part of a company. One of the benefits of your company is that they stand to pray for you (Acts 4:23). When you are weak, they become your strength (Lk. 22:32). Jesus prayed for Peter but did not for Judas. This is why it is important to live a life that will cause men to stand in the place of prayer for you in your time of weakness. One of the greatest help that God has sent to man is company (Ecc. 4:10, Psa. 68:6). Value, pay attention to and respect your company.

Blessings!
