One warfare that needs to be accomplished in this season that God wants to grant us admittance into the realm of everlasting life is the warfare to stop living for ourselves. For many of us, we cannot truly desire this entrance into everlasting life if the Lord has not firstly succeeded in reconciling some of our wrong expectations and hopes. The servant of God in the person of Rev. (Mrs) Helen Oyegoke was ministering at the UK edition of Believers’ Convention (2021) and she said, “we are not allowed to live for ourselves in this realm of everlasting life; we are to live for the law that will make us live out everlasting life in our souls”.

The law of everlasting life is the law of the New Testament that we are supposed to live by. At some seasons of life, we live for all manner of mundane things. However, at certain seasons we would be brought into living for a new law that is contained in the New Testament (Ezek. 36:26). It is this new law that will firstly birth the new heart, and then the heart of flesh in us. The man with the heart of flesh is the new man called Christ (2 Cor. 3:3/5:17). This new law is what will pull down the veil of this world in our souls or undo the works of darkness for us to be able to behold the law of everlasting life; such that will lead us to the everlasting covenant or the sure mercies of David (Isa. 55:3).

The servant of God said that the realm of everlasting life is a realm of selflessness. Therefore, a major disease of the soul that ought to be dealt with is selfishness. Selfishness and selflessness are two different words. Selfishness speaks of being devoted to oneself, while selflessness speaks of being devoted to others. Devotion is a love language; its synonym is worship or commitment to a thing. Selfishness is a major disease of the soul and it is the root cause of other diseases of the soul.

The epistles of Paul carry the leaf of faith that are meant to heal some diseases of the soul. However, even after a man has been healed through the leaf of faith, there are still some infirmities that will limit him from being granted access into the Most Holy Place. These infirmities are such that can only be healed by the good and perfect lights of the Father; so that the man can complete the course of everlasting life, and ultimately approach the ark of God (James 1:17). The circumference of the ark of God is the realm of Eternal Life. This is the realm where God will dwell in men and walk in them; they will be His people and He will be their God (2 Cor. 6:16).

The essence of gathering the understanding of everlasting life is so that we can relate with the fullness of understanding, which is the realm of knowing the true God. The realm of the true God is the realm of the ark; this is the realm where God and His people will become one. “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1 John 5:20). An understanding was committed to the trust of the Apostles that will enable them to know the true God. The writer of this book of John had prospered with everlasting life and this was evidently declared in 1 John 1:3-4. His joy has been made full by the knowledge of everlasting life and that was why he could write to a people with the intent of bringing them into the same fullness of joy. The essence of the doctrine of everlasting life is to cause our joy to be full. Coming into full measure of life or joy speaks of an increased strength via the knowledge of God (Col. 1:10). This will enable us to measure out a walk of obedience against Satan and his wicked spirits

One of the reasons why we are still behind in understanding the light of Christ and the Father, is because we don’t labour to access these understandings as they are communicated on every occasion. This lack of commitment or diligence is mainly because of our unguarded engagement in the orderly arrangement called the course of this world; this is what limits us from using time the way God ordained it to be used (Eph. 2:2). Many of us do not yet have the value for what the Lord is saying. There is a lot that we should be able to process (in real time) from the ministrations of the Spirit coming our way. If we give the kind of commitment we give to our academics or career pursuit to these words of everlasting life, we won’t be falling short of comprehending or grasping all that the Lord is declaring to us.

Many people (including believers) are not yet seeing the ill of the so-called civilization. Therefore, we are still at home with civilization and don’t yet react to the ill. When we interface with the world by watching videos or news on social media through our mobile devices, we usually do not react to the ill that is being subtly communicated. This is largely because we are not even enlightened enough to discern it. There should be a reaction from us against the world but contrarily, a baby in the womb of our souls leaps in response to the world because we still have an alignment or connection to the world. Just like there is always a reaction when acid is put in an alkaline solution, our souls should also react when we interface with the world. The lack of such reaction in our souls shows that we are low on spiritual judgement. Scriptures tells us that a spiritual man judges all things (1 Cor. 2:15).

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” (2 Cor. 7:10). This shows that the Corinthian Church came to a state in the spirit where some counsels that border on salvation or everlasting life could be committed to them. A man who has this godly sorrow is a man who has been separated unto the gospel of God or unto salvation (Romans 1:1). He is a man who has come into the season of everlasting life.

“For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.” (2 Cor. 7:11). This verse speaks of the by-products after a soul has gone through the healing provision in the faith of Christ. In other words, partaking of the leaves of faith will wrought a work in the soul and the fruits of such work will be as seen in the above scripture. One of the signs that we have truly acknowledged the truth that borders on godliness is that we will be grieved or have a godly sorrow whenever we see what the Lord is saying concerning a conversation that we should have grown above.

A man who has the posture or alignment that was described in 2 Corinthians 7:11 will easily understand the speakings of the Father. For example, such a soul will have a kind of carefulness. This carefulness is a fruit of repentance. So, a careful person in this light is someone who has repented or who has acknowledged the truth that is after godliness and has thereby become godly (Titus 1:1). On the other hand, a careless person in the spirit is one who still retains his darkened understanding (Eph. 4:18).

Also, there is an indignation that would be worked in the soul of a godly man, such that would always make him angry with the activity of the law of sin and death. He would always react to anything or any conversation that is tainted with the law of sin and death. When the activity of the spirit of faith is at work in us, there is a way it would cause us to always react to the ill of civilisation that is unseen by most men. When a man eats the leaf of faith, the herb or the bitter component of the leaf will heal his soul of worldly affections and alignments. It is the presence of this worldly affection in our souls that limits us from passionately desiring things that are above (Col. 3:1-2).

Furthermore, a (holy) fear would be wrought in a man who has attained godliness. The presence of this holy fear in a man shows he has been healed from his previous fears, one of which is the fear of losing out of attaining the goods of this world. Scripture says that the fear of man is a snare (Prov. 29:25). Men have all manner of fears, but this holy fear is one that will cause us to have the secret of the Lord. “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.” (Psalm 25:14). The word “them” connotes a description of a particular company of people. They are those who have gone through separations through faith and have become sanctified (John 17:17). They are the brethren of the Sanctuary (Heb. 2:11-12). The secret of the Lord would be committed to their trust because they have used the leaves of faith. They will have a sense of fear; they won’t behave unseemly (1 Cor. 13:5).

A soul that has repented and has arrived at godliness will have a vehement desire. This is because that soul would have been healed of some worldly lusts (2 Pet. 1:4, 1 John 2:15-16). Therefore, a soul that lacks a vehement or passionate desire for the Lord is sick; such a soul needs more dosage or leaves of the word of faith. When the word of faith or of Christ is not dwelling richly in a man, he will lack the desire for the most holy things of God. The passion and desire of the new man called Christ are the things of the Father and of God. But when a man lacks such desire, he still needs to be healed of wrong desires through the words of Christ.

A soul that has all the attributes in 2 Corinthian 7:11 will be able to undress some of the lies hiding under the radar of civilization or technological advancement. However, when a man whose soul has not been healed through the knowledge of everlasting life watches some of those exciting things on the internet, he won’t be able to discern the activities of the second death in those things. Some of the things we watch on the internet have moved beyond sin and death; they are activities of hell and death. And when we watch or see such things, some scriptures that have been tattooed in our souls should begin to react. This is why it’s good to have a lot of scriptures in our souls like a bank.

We should devote quality time to reading and committing a lot of scriptures to memory. However, the uncontrolled engagement with social media is limiting many believers from making such commitments; and therefore they are bankrupt of scriptures in their hearts. The Holyghost should have scriptures to refer to in the bank of our souls when He wants to witness against the world. Some believers often say things like “something is telling me to do this”; and this is because of their inability to trace the impression they are having to the scriptures. So, they use the word “something” to describe the impression or nudging they are having. Many times, the Holyghost will want to convict such a believer of a sin or enlighten him about a darkness, but He cannot find a scripture in their hearts to use.

There are people in our age that are already registering their presence in the most holy place of Satan; they are already being christened with a negative everlasting life of Satan. This is to tell us that we are not also too young to embody the everlasting life of God. Inheriting everlasting life should be the heartfelt cry of our souls. A believer who does not yet have everlasting life in his or her soul should be mourning. God wants faith to be our norm but much more he wants everlasting life to become our norm. And then we would get to a point where we can migrate from everlasting life into Eternal Life. So, our heavenly Father is still suffering long, as long as this is not yet the case in the Church (James 5:6, 2 Pet. 3:9).

At a time, there was so much of the activity of demons in men, but in the last five to ten years, there has been more of the activities of principalities and powers. Evil spirits are embodying men. Satan wants to fully embody man and this is what he would achieve with the man of sin (2 Thess. 2:3). Right now, there are men through whom the rulers of the darkness of this world can live expressly and they are many. Satan can easily push out death through them and he wants to multiply them on earth. There is also the count of those through whom spirits called spiritual wickedness are living and they are increasing. So, a believer who is not seeing what the Father is saying concerning everlasting life won’t be able to discern the activity of wicked spirits through men.

Everlasting life is a judgement that should take over the most holy courts of our soul because this is where God wants to inhabit. God will not come until men have used everlasting light and have prospered with it. Just like Jesus trapped all the judgment of the Father, God wants an average person who is hearing these words of everlasting life to trap all the judgements therein (John 16:15). Such men would become the trees of righteousness in their day; they would be able to shield men from the scorching of the sun (Isa. 61:3). The sun has smitten many men because there are few trees of righteousness on earth. Men do not have a place of refuge because there are few men who have embodied everlasting righteousness.

Isaiah prophesied that a time will come when a man will become a place of refuge. “And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.” (Isaiah 32:2). This is a man who is not living by bread alone but who is walking in the light of everlasting life. Some men will perish on earth if those of us hearing these words of everlasting life do not grow up to become trees of righteousness; and God will account for their souls from us (Ezek. 33:6). This is why Paul would say he is free from the blood of anyone who rejects the truth after he has laboured tirelessly to reach them. The reason we are hearing this truth is so that we can grow to become trees of righteousness who can shield men from evil. God’s prescription to shield men from iniquity is men who have come into everlasting righteousness. Such are those that can warn men against iniquity.

If we can take what the Lord is saying to us in this season personal and pay our dues towards them in the place of devotion, we would become that man who is described in Isaiah 32:2. Right now, there is a demand for trees of righteousness to arise on earth. In the natural, people breathe fresh air when there are trees. This is the same thing that will happen when trees of righteousness arise; men will be able to take the fresh breath of God. The whole idea of civilisation, building cities etc are programs of the adversary and they are all lies. The men who are at the centre of such are not looking for everlasting life nor Eternal Life; all they are looking for is vanity. Satan is already raising negative trees and he wants to multiply them.

For example, the place called Goggle Campus may look exciting to the human mind but it’s all a lie. It’s a bait; it’s an everlasting lie of Satan. Many labour hard for the goods of this world and Satan only rewards them with crumbs or with a little portion of the world, but they would have lost their soul (Mark 8:36). Satan is the one who makes men love their life, even to the death of their soul, just for crumbs of this world (John 12:21). Satan offers vanity to men who are undiscerning, to men who will trade God’s offering of life for nothingness. Satan only dangles a small portion of this world to men to get them in a passionate vain pursuit. This is why many will not be satisfied with just having money, they will later desire to have power.

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke of blessed memory once said that God would have to apologise to Sodom and Gomorrah if He does not judge America. He saw sodom in America and those who are sponsoring such are men who have wealth. Such men have created a lying civilisation because Satan anointed them with wisdom. Satan knows that man cannot resist pleasure except with the gospel. The strategy is that they buy a large expanse of land and sink billions of dollars into building offices with a very high and glamorous standard. Such are not offices; they are designed to bring souls into captivity. These edifices are so glamorous that they can make a man who has a measure of everlasting life to feel inferior when he enters such places; just like Apostle John wondered in great admiration when he saw Babylon (Rev. 17:6).

Those sophisticated offices in advanced nations are Towers of Babel in disguise; Satan is raising that tower again. If Satan had succeeded in Genesis to raise that Tower of Babel through Nimrod, he would have raised the beast and men would have taken the six-six-six (666) mark (Gen. 11:1-9, Rev. 13:15-18). Right now, some men in the world are already racing to be sealed with the mark of the beast while believers are yet oblivious and nonchalant to their need to be sealed by the Father’s name. The subtle agenda behind civilisation or technological advancements is to use pleasure for three things: to steal, kill and destroy man (John 10:10). When Satan is stealing through civilization, his goal is to destroy the soul of men; just like the goal of faith is to bring men into the rest of Eternal Life (Heb. 4:1).

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” (1 Tim. 4:1). Those who will depart from the faith in these last days were supposed to move into everlasting life. They were supposed to continue living by faith until they would meet with the living God, but Satan pulled them away (Heb. 12:22). They did not hasten their pace into everlasting light. Satan will always want to come against our feet (Gen. 3:15). Satan will cause these men to depart from the faith because they failed to move onto the next sealing, which is the sealing of the Father. It’s possible that they are even lacking in the seal of faith which is Charity (Col. 3:14). The use of the word “depart” in the above scripture tells us that they had previously embarked on a journey, but they decided to leave the path. This is why God will often begin to speak things concerning everlasting life even before a soul comes to the end of faith. This is so that the soul would be motivated and anchored on a greater hope

Seducing spirits are spiritual wickedness in high places, and they know how to use pleasure to lure men out of God’s way. They are part of those who attacked those sons of God in Genesis 6:1-2. Seducing spirits are spirits that go after those who are being raised as sons of God. Sons who come into the season of everlasting life must complete the course because the enemy is always lurking around to seduce those who might want to relax.

“Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” (2 Tim. 3:4). These are the characteristics of people moving from first death to second death and Satan wants to harvest many of such. The two spots that Satan uses against souls are high mindedness and pleasures. Pleasure is not ordinary; it rides on the wings of civilization and its intent is to lure the souls of men. This was why our Lord Jesus was not led through the route of the academic world; He was rather raised above it. When we pass through the academic world, we should relate with it with an understanding that it is only meant for use. We should use it in such a way that spirits will know that we are not worshipping it - we should put it where it belongs. We should use it as though we didn’t use it (1 Cor. 7:31). The glory of the academic world should not confer a name, hope or confidence on us.

Elon Musk’s agenda of building a Star base city is another Nimrodic agenda. This is why we need to be more concerned in these times that we are in. When Nimrod rose in Genesis, he took a generation of men out of the sight of Ararat, from a place where they should have been drawing God’s judgement and conviction (Gen. 10:8-10/11:1-2). Right now, some men are using money to carry out that same agenda. God can only bring judgement and confound the language of such men when He has succeeded in raising trees of righteousness. Men are the outstretched arm of God, but He has scarcely found men who would represent His interest on earth (Ezek. 22:30). This is because men are occupied with selfish and vain pursuits.

Men have become so foolish now that they have an agenda of living on the moon. Such an agenda is fuelled by the desire to make a name for themselves. They want to “barb” or take God's consciousness out of their soul; they are under a strong delusion. This is why we must pray for the Church. If the Church had taken her correct position in the Spirit, the world would not be the way it is. The Church refers to those who are hearing these words of everlasting life; we are responsible for what is happening on earth. The way God will judge someone who has never heard the word of righteousness will be different from the way he will judge someone who has heard it. This is because much is expected from those whom much is given.

The civilisation and technological advancement that we see around (especially in advanced nations) were crafted because Satan knows what pleasure means to the soul. Satan wants to rob man of eternal pleasures from the right hand of God using worldly pleasures (Psa. 16:11). The highly comfortable workplaces in such nations are a means to marry work with pleasures, such that a man can work overnight without thinking of going home to meet his wife. This is because everything he needs would have been provided in the office. The wisdom or wiles of Satan is to make the office like a home. Imagine spending five billion dollars on an office complex - that’s not an office but a shrine. It’s a captivity! We must hate such things because they represent something injurious in the spirit; Satan is slaying souls with such and resurrecting ambitions in men. Satan is making men race into the lake of fire through such hopes. With the way things are going on earth right now, men would easily go after the man of sin when he shows up. This is why the Godhead wants to raise trees of righteousness, They want to raise men who can follow this doctrine of everlasting life.

Rev. (Mrs) Helen said that much grace will be ministered to us to heal us from self in the coming season. All the things that we are hearing are meant to bring us to this point where self can be dealt with. A man who can deal with self has dealt with death. Another word for self is death. We all have that death but God is bringing things that are meant to deal with this death. A time is coming when we won’t just be going to scriptures to fetch the conversation of everlasting life, it would have been embodied. She also said that we should not be making decisions in favour of ourselves because everlasting life is at stake. The Godhead who possess everlasting life are similarly selfless and They do everything out of selflessness. Commandments will be measured out to us to train us to be selfless in all things, including our marriages. We will get to a place where we would only respond out of our bowels of love regardless of what is done to us.

We must desire to participate in this realm of everlasting life because there is grace for it. We must desire not to be left behind. We must desire to bear the name of the Father and be a fruitful hill. By this declaration of the name of the Father, excellent judgement, glory, and life can be found in our flesh like it was for men of like passion. We must desire to bear the beauty and glory of this Testament. We must desire to be part of those who would remain in Zion and Jerusalem, those who would be called holy and true. Our ears must be pierced like bondservants by the Father. The ears of our souls would be pierced to hear what the Spirit is saying. We would be written among them who are living in Jerusalem.
