                                              Transcript Excerpts

1. “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.” (Heb. 1:4). The reason Jesus' name is more excellent than that of the angels is because His inheritance differs from theirs and it commandeered Him a better name (nature). The angels also have a level of inheritance, but it is one of a lower kind. Jesus’ name was not just bestowed on Him; He was made qualified for it because He obeyed God and sat on the throne. Thus, He was made higher than the heavens and separate from sinners (Heb. 7:26). If we do not obey God, we would never sit on the throne.

2. By obeying God, Jesus partook of a cup of suffering known as the "sufferings of Christ". This suffering was not just a momentary thing but one that took a process. He was led in the procession as a lamb is led to the slaughter (Isa. 53:7). This suffering made Him conformable for the death on the cross (Philipp. 3:10). Although Jesus had many glories while on earth, He was stripped of these glories so that He could taste death for every man. As we grow up spiritually, we grow into the sacraments of the cup (of suffering). The cup is the price for a person to obtain glory.

3. We must be people who are detailed in holiness and hide behind the cross. Although God gives us everything, there are certain things that are exclusive to Him. We must not take the things that are for God unto ourselves. One of the evils one can do in this regard is to turn the face of the flock from the Lord to oneself. Ministers of the gospel can do this, but we should not be found doing such a thing. Ministers of the gospel should not draw attention to themselves but rather hide behind the cross. We must desire to be like Jesus because even after His enemies have been brought under His feet, He was still subject under God so that God may be all in all (1 Cor. 15:27-28). The season is coming when all things will be put under our feet; this is going to be an answer to Jesus' prayers.

4. “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…” (Heb. 1:2). It is by the Gospel that we are healed from iniquity. Reconciliation from iniquity is healing from iniquity and it is done by the Gospel. There are iniquities that we have but we do not know. Therefore, we should be more contrite as we get closer to God. God wants to completely heal us of the ability to ‘break trust’ because this is a form of iniquity. Everything committed into your hands has been entrusted to you by God. Some people (ministers) see the flock as an inheritance and use them as a means of having preeminence. But the day their eyes are opened, they will be afraid of doing this.

5. Unlike Lucifer, Jesus kept the 'trust' of God and did not pervert any soul. This year's 'Believers' Convention" will ascertain if men can be trusted for eternity and are worthy of the throne of God. God wants to see the people whom He wants to put the world to come under. This "Believers' Convention" will not just be revelational; it would be a time of decision-making by heaven, to ascertain our trust.

6. “For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.” (Heb. 2:5). The present world is under the subjection of angels. When Lucifer left his allocation, He created a void and angels had to war to fill that space. Before he fell, he was called "the bringer of the dawn". The greatest problem of mankind is understanding the dawn. Lucifer knows how to bring understanding but now, he is working against this understanding because he turned against the name (nature) he used to have.

7. Jesus has an inheritance that makes Him the appointed heir (Heb. 1:2-4); this is why the inheritance is named after Him. You cannot get the inheritance specially from God; we can only get it through Jesus. This inheritance is a status, a making, a state, a nature, and a being that is higher than heavens. When Jesus acquired the inheritance, He became higher than the heavens (Heb. 7:26).

8. God is speaking unto us in these last days by His Son, whom He had appointed heir of all things and by whom He made the world (Heb. 1:1-2). Therefore, the world of this inheritance is acquired by the Son. The world of this inheritance is also called the Kingdom of the inheritance. God created the world of this inheritance and Jesus went further to be named over the inheritance (Heb. 1:4). The name Jesus acquired is the authority of the inheritance; this means the reason for the inheritance is the name. The inheritance is dispensed by the speaking of the Father.

9. God speaks His word to those who are supposed to receive the Kingdom. The word of God becomes effective because of its recipients. If there were no receivers on earth, words would come and go back. When the word comes forth and there are recipients, it will prosper. If these words are coming to us, then there is a good platform for the angels to war because they can ride on what is being spoken.

10. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned…” (Rom. 5:12). The world is more than our physical earth; it is spiritual. This was where sin entered by one man and then began to control all men. But in the same way that sin entered the world, life also entered into the world by one man — Jesus, the Lamb of God. Jesus came to take away the sins of men (John 1:29). The reason we still see sin is because men are projecting it. But not too long from now, there will come a time when it will be clear that sin is no longer present in the world. The system of this world can be conquered.

11. The hold of sin or claim of the adversary still exists because he is still seeing disobedience in men. This is because several men are still carnally minded. Satan is living in disobedience. He is a father of lies and he abides in it. Lie is a house and a place of refuge for him, so we need to destroy his place of abode and ensure that there is no place found for him again (Isa. 28:17). Satan is controlling the minds of men because they are in the same place with fallen spirits. But when men begin to live out another life other than the life these spirits are giving, Satan will be weakened. There is a higher world to occupy and Jesus wants us to occupy it till He comes (Luke 19:13).

12. “For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.” (‭‭Heb.‬ ‭2‬:‭5). There is the "world to come" that must first be received by words (via preaching) and in the spirit. The world to come is a physical world, but it is also a spiritual world that a man can enter into while here on earth. One who is earthly/carnal cannot be taken into the world to come in the heavenly because he would not be able to interact with it; this is why such a person has to first receive that world via its words. The inheritance is what gives the right of way to enter into that world.

13. One who has entered into Christ is already living in the world to come. However, the world to come has both the dominion of the new earth and the new heavens (2 Pet. 3:13). The first dominion in the world to come is the dominion in the new earth and immediately one enters it, one has entered into the new earth. We first enter into the new earth in our souls. It is possible for someone to be on earth physically, yet such a one has entered into not just the new earth but also the new heavens. This is possible through the comprehension and revelation of scriptures, and obedience to them. As we receive the inheritance, we enter into the world to come. Those whom things are put under their feet are those who have the inheritance (Heb. 2:8).

14. The key to holding those worlds that are higher than the heavens is called trust. Without trust, things won’t be put under our subjection. If we break trust, heaven cannot trust us. Salvation is a big program and there are all manner of demands when you are saved. There are points of salvation known as points of trust. Trust is taking charge of a thing while the owner is fully at rest about it.

15. God created angels to prove trust, but one of them (Lucifer) broke it. Then God brought a man out of Himself (Jesus), who will not break trust. Jesus became subject to God again, even after He attained the eternal state. God uses those whom we are serving to check out trust levels. Therefore, we should stay wherever God has put us and be satisfied with it. Jesus wants us to submit one to another in the fear of the Lord. God owns all the things we are dealing with; this is why we should be faithful, even while serving under men. We should not trivialize any little position we occupy; we should do whatever we have been given to do in the house of God with all our hearts.

16. Between now and this year's Believers' Convention, there is a lot that will be coming to us from God. Therefore, we should not play with time but invest it in praying about our hearts.
